Shipping

Where possible, your package will be delivered to your doorstep by bike. We work together with Fietskoeriers. We can deliver by bike in all major cities in the Netherlands. If bicycle couriers are not possible in your region, or not as efficient as 'regular' shipping, we work together with DHL to deliver your package.

Normally, orders placed before 12:00h on working days are shipped the same day. We do everything we can to realize this, but these delivery times are subject to change during peak times. If you are based in the Netherlands, 9 times out of 10 you can expect the following delivery times:

Shipping costs

For orders within the Netherlands we charge the following shipping costs:

  • Free for orders over €35
  • For orders below we charge €3.95 shipping costs

For orders to Belgium and Germany we charge the following shipping costs:

  • Free for orders over €70
  • For orders below that we charge € 6.95 shipping costs

Return policy

In case your delivery does not live up to your expectations, we would really appreciate it if you contact us about this, as we're always eager to improve our products and the only way we can continue to do so is with your feedback. 

At Bambook you have a 30-day cooling-off period. If you do not like it or if you have changed your mind, you can return your order free of charge. We will refund the full purchase amount to your bank account within 30 days after we have received your return in good condition. 

Only the costs for returning from your home to the webshop are for your own account, unless the order value is above fifty euros. 

Do you want to return an order from Belgium or Germany? Unfortunately, the shipping costs are for your own account. This applies to both our shipping costs to your address, and for returning your package to Bambook.

How to return your Bambook product?

Register your return shipment using the online return form.

In order to process your return, we need your postal code and track and trace or order number.

Warranty & repair

Is there something wrong with your product and do you want to return it? Please do not hesitate to contact us by phone. In many cases, sending a product back and forth is not the most sustainable way in terms of transport and associated emissions. We'd prefer to prevent this process where we can. 

We do everything we can to deliver your product to you in optimal condition. Because everything is made by hand, sometimes a cosmetic flaw can occur but that also makes every Bambook unique. 

Cancel order

Because we have automated a large part of our shipping process, it is unfortunately not possible to cancel your order yourself. We advise you to contact us by phone as soon as possible to cancel your order. If it still works, we can remove it from the ordering process. If this is no longer possible, you are unfortunately forced to return your order.

Payment methods

Bambook does everything it can to make your online purchase as smooth as possible. That is why we are continuously developing in terms of payment methods that we offer. Bambook takes care of transaction costs, so you as a customer pay nothing for this.

Currently you can pay in our webshop with the following payment methods:

  • iDEAL (Netherlands)
  • PayPal
  • Klarna - pay afterwards
  • Credit card
  • Bancontact - formerly Mister Cash (Belgium)
  • SOFORT Banking (Germany)

We work together with payment provider Mollie. If you are missing a payment method that you would like to see in the future, please let us know. We will definitely look into the possibilities!

Can the order be delivered to another address?

Yes, it is possible to deliver your order at a different address than your billing address. During the process of ordering your products, there is an option to add a shipping address that differs from the billing address.

How can I track my order?

You will receive a shipping confirmation by email after the order is transferred from our warehouse to Fietskoeriers.nl or DHL. In addition, you will receive an email with the track&trace code to track your order. You can also find the time frame in which your order will be delivered using the same code.

I haven't received my order yet, what should I do?

It rarely occurs that an order is not delivered. Unfortunately, it might happen in a few cases. If you experience any problems regarding the delivery (and you have received a track&trace code), please contact Fietskoeriers.nl or DHL. Returns

What is the return policy?

You can return your order within 30 days of shipping. Check our return policy here.

How can I return my Bambook?

1. Register your return via the online return form.

2. Pack your Bambook for shipment, preferably reuse the original packaging. That way, the chance of damage is as small as possible and we may be able to make someone else happy with it.

3. After registering your return, you will receive a confirmation email with a return number and shipping label. Print out the shipping label and adhere it to the box. 

4. Bring the package to a DHL-location near you. 

5. We will refund the full purchase amount (excluding shipping costs - these are at your own expense) to your account within 30 days after we have received your return in good condition.

When will I get my refund?

As soon as we have received the returned product, we will return the paid amount within 30 days. You will then receive a full refund of the purchase price, excluding shipping costs.
