We love our people

and we care for what we love.

Did you think you knew everything now ? Well, we're making even MORE impact!

In fact, Bambook is a member of Social Enterprise Netherlands. According to the European Commission, a 'social enterprise' has a main aim to have a social impact, rather than maximize profit for owners. We cannot emphasize this often enough.

Impact on our planet and impact on our people. We also want to make an impact on Bambook's organizational culture.

For Bambook, this means an inclusive labor market. This is how we jointly contribute to the development of people distanced from the labor market. Will you join us?

Team

Meet the team!

These are three of our workshop heroes.

Every day here, with a big smile, utmost concentration, and a lot of fun, people work to end paper-waste.

Marianne - Where would we be without Marianne? As an internal job coach, Marianne makes sure things run like a well-oiled machine here. And that everyone is challenged and does what they do best.

Patrick - As versatile as Patrick is, he is unique! He is busy doing all sorts of things; from packing packages to weighing pages. Chief Bambook!

Gerda - Turning in books; it’s what she does best! Gerda is a fast and hard-working Bambooker who works with utmost precision.

The hands that create your Bambook.

Thanks to you, they feel seen.

How is your Bambook made?

A look behind the scenes: this is how your Bambook is made.
  • Step 1: Weighing the pages

How do we ensure there are just enough pages in your Bambook? By weighing it!

  • Step 2: Attaching elastics

We press the black elastic band into the Bambook cover with an eyelet.

  • Step 3: Attaching the pen loop

That black elastic that holds your pen has to be in the right place. Precision work!

  • Step 4: Screwing in the ring binder

We do the beginning by hand, and the last bit by machine.

  • Step 5: Ready for dispatch

We choose a shipping box in the right size - so we don't use unnecessarily large packaging. We fold the box closed and stick the label on!

Team Bambook

Bambook:

one team, one task!

Besides the great team from our workshop, a 10-minute drive away we have the office team, as well as a local community in Madagascar that takes care of our planting site. They are definitely part of our mission too.

Together on a mission to make reusability the new norm!

Here's how Bambook makes an impact.
